Jeff’s story

Jeff didn't stumble into custom clothing — he grew up in it. Over the course of 15+ years, he's worked at nearly every level of the industry: as a clothier working directly with clients, as a manager training the next generation of custom stylists, and behind the scenes learning how garments are actually manufactured. That rare combination of client-facing expertise and production knowledge means Jeff understands not just what looks good, but why — and how to get it made right.

When it came time to build something of his own, Jeff knew exactly what he wanted: a custom clothing experience that was personal, honest, and obsessively detail-oriented. No pushy sales tactics. No upselling you on things you don't need. Just a genuine partnership built around helping you look and feel your best.

The name

J&L is named for Jeff's two sons. It's a small detail, but an intentional one — a reminder that everything we do here is personal. This isn't a chain or a franchise. It's a business built by hand, one client and one garment at a time, with the same care Jeff would put into something made for his own family.
